Hi, I’m still having problems with my site (a few problems with upgrading and the like have delayed my response).

The problem I have is that I can’t link a button within an animation to the main menu! I was told to use tell target “_level0” and then just add the frame number. Is this for Flash 5, as this is what I’m running and I can only seem to link it to the animation file I’m currently using? In Flash 5, how do I link it to the main menu and choose a frame from there?

Thanks,

Hard to answer out of the blue!
Make your fla available... or post the url of what you have now!
If your refering to davdesign's answer to your earlier post... dD probably posted Flash 4 syntax. If your problem is only that you can get to change the actionscript in Flash 5... do the following:
When the actions panel is opened, hit the top-right arrow and switch to Expert Mode. You'll be able to edit the actionscript!

;-)

Maybe you could try _root in stead of _level0
Add ".mainmenu" or whatever if the menu is a movie
It IS a movie or the main stage, isn't it?
