I have been working on my site in Front Page and decided to do a frames page. It's just a two frames page: Menu on the left, main page to the right.

In the Menu Frame, I've added Hover Buttons and linked the appropriate page to those buttons. BUt here's the problem, when you click on a button, the linked page opens up in the menu frame, not on the Main frame...

I've tried to check options and all that good stuff and I just can't figure it out for the life of me. I'm sure it's a simple enough answer but what can I do?

thanks all!

Don

Right-click on the hyperlink and choose "hyperlink properties".
Click the button (on the right) "Target Frame..."
Click the graphic to indicate in which frame you want the link to open, or choose "Whole Page" or "New Window" if that's your preference.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback but the trouble is that I'm using the Frontpage Hover Buttons. When I right click on the buttons, all I get is "Hover Button Properties" and there's now way to tell it what page to open them in. Do I just need to scrap the Hover buttons and do my own?

Peace,
Don

open you the page with the two frames on it. In the left frame - click on it & choose page properties. Under the general tab, you will see default target frame. Hit the button next to it & choose the name of your right frame or just hit the right frame. Hit OK & OK.

Corey,

Thanks so much for your help but it's STILL not working. The pages are still opening up in the Menu bar and not on the main page.

Thanks again for your help!
