links not saying dbo_xxxx

my ODBC links are now saying myname_tablename1, myname_tablename2, when linking with access. How do I make them dbo_tablename...If I didnt create the actual sql server db, how do I look in Enterprise manager, and change so I can be dbo, so links say dbo_tablename1, dbo_tablename2. Is this something that I have to go the dba and ask for permissions. I am supposed to have all rights and permissions to create users, table permissions...please help. thanks
