i'm working on a site -
If you go to that site and choose "Products" at the top and then "Construction" in i.e. 5x it works fine.

If you go to that site and choose "Products" at the top and
then "Contruction" in netscape 4x it gives you "404 can't be found" error.

why why why why ...????

I've checked the links, and as far as I can see, they point to the correct files.

again, I ask why why why why why why why why why why why why why..........???

How much water would there be in the ocean if it weren't for sponges?

Not only that, but once you get the 404 error the back button doesn't seem to work right either! I keep getting the same 404 error.

It has to do with your stylesheet. For some reason if you type in the path to the page ( in the address bar Netscape loads instead.

A quick "band-aid" for this would be the add media="all" to the stylesheet link...
<link REL=&quot;stylesheet&quot; TYPE=&quot;text/css&quot; HREF=&quot;StyleSheets/wilcostyle.css&quot; media=&quot;all&quot;>

That will cause Netscape to bypass the stylesheet...

You may want to look at the path to the stylesheet, there is most likely a problem there.

I have found sometimes with netscape that if you put your stylesheet in the directory of the page that is not working, it will load.

It's a thought.

I've found that if you DON'T put a path on a stylesheet ref, IE is smart enough to also check the root directory for your site for it. NN, on the other hand, isn't that smart.
