Linking with field that is sometimes blank removed records from report

When I link tables using fields that are sometimes blank the other fields that are a part of that record do not print and the entire record is suppressed. I need to set the links using these fields in order to grab other table information that is referenced using numbers in the table that lookup other table. I want the rest of the info to print regardless of the blank fields. Any suggestions?

Change the join type to a Left Outer.

Database->Visual Linking Expert->click the link->Link Options->Left Outer.
