I have a table that i would like to link crystal into, i know how to do this. But the table is a combination of about 50ish other linked tables via odbc links to multiple database.

So i had to create 3 queries in access to do a union select to combine all this information into 1 table. Access would not allow me to just create 1 query due to been to complex (or so it said).

So then i created a make table table to make the "combined" table.

I did this to try and make the queries run faster for the end user.

But now i want to be able email people with a display of one of the queries.

But the problem is can i execute a query in access from crystal???

Many thanks for any advise in advance.

Depends upon the type of query in Access.

In the data explorer, hit options and make sure that you turn on the show VIEWS. Those are the equivalent of Access Queries.

You neglected to post the software and version you are using, and I suspect that you should eliminate the MAKE TABLE and just use a final Query as the Crystal data source.

You can also execute Crystal from Access depending upon the edition of Crystal.
