linking with Access tables/queries

I'm sorry because I don't know how to do what you ask for.
I have a problem with getting check boxes in a data grid's column. Though this column is linked to an access query field, which values have been converted to booleans, I can't get the check box in the data grid. I get 1 or 0 but not the check box.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it a lot.
