Linking Views and Tables

We're using CR v10 and it has some canned views within the data source. There is a view has some info in it that I can't find in the tables in the data source. Is there a way to link information in the Views to info in the tables to make a report?

Where I work, database > datebase expert shows tables, views and stored procedures as seaparate categories under 'dbo'.

If you see just 'tables' under 'dbo', yet views exist, maybe it is a problem with access rights.
