well, I have two reports. There is a way to link them together and make a new report where I can compare the data! HELP!!

Have you tried "using" (creating) on as a subreport? This actually runs a report within a report.

Comparing the data would be difficult, can you provide more detail. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

you can open one report as the main report and then add the other report to it as a subreport.

Depending on how these reports are set up (YOU HAVE GIVEN US NO DETAILS HERE)...it may be just a simple launching of the subreport in the report footer...with no links between main report and subreport...assuming the Subreport is stand-alone.

Or you can link the subreport to the main report on common fields...the possiblities depend on what you want to do and how the reports are set up.

you cannot homogenize the two reports unless you use shared variables to pass data to the main report from the subreport and suppress that subreport from view.

Lots of possiblities....not details to work with :) JimBroadbent@Hotmail.com
