Linking two physical networks

Hi,

I have two IP ranges, one ethernet and one wifi. Currently they are on separate physical networks. Two of my eight servers require access to both of the networks and each have two network cards configured one for each range/network.

My question is, is that the correct, best practise, way of connecting to both IP networks? Are there any pro or cons for doing it this
way.

My gut feel is to use some sort of LAN routing between the two using a firewall as the wifi is only running WEP 64 bit.

Any feed back will be welcome.

Thanks

Your best bet would be to incorporate a layer 3 switch into your network, while creating vlans for each seperate lan and letting the switch do the routing. To premit access you could also deply ACLs on each vlan to control cross network traffic. By doing this you could toss out the multiple NICs in your server.
