Hi. I am very much an amateur, tending a small Website in my spare time. How can I do a link to a specific place in a page? I have a large block of text, and want to link index items to specific places in the text. If anybody knows the answer, please keep it very simple -- I'm not a professional programmer!
Many thanks,

The text below in the page. Let's link to the word cat in the next sentence. The cat is black.

The word "link" can be whatever you want. Just match them. If the link should link to a particular spot in a different page use click here the other page would then have a word surrounded by word that you want to link to. Again the word "link" can be anything easy for you to use. DeZiner

Many thanks for your time and help. I'll give it a try.

Or you can do this:

Click on a word in the place you want to jump to. Then select Insert>Bookmark. Give it an appropriate name.

Then, insert a hyperlink where you want, only for the link, click the Bookmark button and choose the bookmark and choose OK.
