Linking to pictures

Hello

This may be an easy question, but I couldn't find much help in msaccess help about linking to a picture. I can embed an OLE object into a tbl, but I don't want to. Help said to click on the control in the form, and click into the edit menu where you find OLE/DDE links. I can't seem to be able to access this function.

What I'm trying to do is link to pictures in a folder on our network. The pictures have part numbers that I would like to link to part numbers in a msaccess db. Any suggestions are appreciated and helpful, as always.

Hi

If you don't need the picture to show up in the database, just appear when a user clicks the link then you could set up a hyperlink field in the table and simply enter the file path as a hyperlink.
