Hello,
I have created a database that will assist me in tracking grant deadlines. I wanted to know how I can set up Access 2003 to do the following if it can be done at all. Please note that I am an intermiedate user.

1. We would like to have all the grant deadlines due dates linked to an Outlook calendar. We have a date field in the table.

2. We would like to be able to send an generic inquiry email automatically from the from the contacts table form directly to that contact as an email inquiry.

3. We would like to have an generic word document linked to the contacts table form that would have all the contact infomation allready filled in for those inquiries that we have to send proposals to.

Thank you for your time.

1. File, Get external data, Link tables; then Files of type "Exchange" and follow the wizrd to add an Outlook calendar as a linked db table that can then be queried.

2. Take a look at the SendObject macro method or VBA action (search Access help for these, with examples) or a functionally richer code solution at

Thank you mp9,
The calendar worked, kinda. Since the dates are in Access and I need them to go into Outlook, do I need to modify the new table that was created called Calendar to have a relationship with the grant contact table by linking to the two date fields and the funder fields? You answered my 3. question through another post. Thank you so much again. Now I don't feel like a sped. :)
