I heard that there was a patch, or perhaps a third party application, that let you set up an additional INI file, that would be launched when you log on to Citrix, that would allow you access to the components of a locally installed MS Office. Some applications rely on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. in order to complete a particular SAVE or posting function. Rather than install MS Office 2000 on the Citrix server and having to upgrade and license all users for MS Office 2000, couldn't this be done so that users are accessing their existing MS Office that they are already licensed for?
