Linking to folders in flash movies

I have a question maybe someone could answer for me. I am making a cd that has a large collection of family pictures videos ect.. I made a little flash movie to run it. I am having a problem making a button open up a specific folder on the cd. I made the buttons use the "on realease" get URL. and in the box I typed (for example) d:/pictures
Am I doing something wrong? or is it imposible to have a button open up a folder. I don't want to link each picture becasue I have over a thousand. In other words I don't want to do this: d:/pictures/mom_picture.jpg

can anybody help me with this?

Is this a flash projector or a flash in a web page and why are you trying to open the folder?
