SQL 2005,
Hi All,
I am linking to an excel file from SSIS. The problem is the first row in the excel file is blank, so sometimes it either use F1, F2, F3 as column headings, or sometimes takes the first row that has data, as column headings.
I would like to know if there is a way from within SSIS to manupulate the excel file by inserting headings?
Example, I could open up the excel file, type in the column names, then link and it would be fine. so basically could I do this from within SSIS and not need to physically go and amend the source excel file?
Any info will be very appreciated.
Michael
