Trying to link a DBASE table to an Access table in Crystal. The DBASE file is the parent file. Both tables are indexed. Receiving a File Link Warning in visual linking expert "The specified fields may not link successfully due to different type" and sure enough they don't. Both are numeric data type fields. Both are desig. as five digit numbers. Any thoughts?

If possible, link the dBase table into the MS Access database and create a query linking the tables in Access (it's more suited to this sort of thing) for use by Crystal.
