I use 8.0, and I cannot link into a database with the extension of .mdf with .ldf. This database is created by our Win-Pak 2.0 Release 3 (door access control).

What is the proper method?

Thanks.

On my system the MDF and LDF are SQL Server tables, so can only be accessed via SQL server itself.

1) Install the SQL server client software and access the data via SQL server native drivers or create an ODBC connection. Editor and Publisher of Crystal Clear
