I use InDesign to lay out a newspaper. Each page of the newspaper is usually in a separate InDesign document. After I place an article (originally in .doc or .rtf format) in the newspaper, it sometimes has to be continued on a later page. In the past, this has been accomplished by cutting the text that doesn't fit and pasting it into the new document.
However, if the text needs to be edited, the two parts are now separate; usually everything must be edited in the first page, and then recut and repasted into the second.
So here's my question: is there a way to link the two halves together, so that one can access and modify the entire article text in either document (i.e. using the text editor, CTRL+E) and automatically see the changes in the other?
Thanks in advance.
