Hi,
I am having a little problem that I hope someone may have some info on. I have created 2 different secured access databases, both stored in the same folder on our network, with the same users/passwords. The problem I am having is that when I try to link a table in one of the secured db's from the other secured db, it is telling me that I do not have the right permissions and such, you know that old message, when the permissions are the same on both dbs. They do however have different security files(.mdw). Does anyone know how to get these tables to link? Do they need to share the same security file? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Willar,
I have not seen any documentation on this while searching on it. Do you know of any online where I can check this and get a better understanding of it? Thanks.

You may be able to supply the mdw file when the ODBC connection string is built. Another option is to link through an ADO connection. Check out the property options on the connections strings.
