I have a master table within my database. I would like to be able to update sub-tables within the same DB and have the information revert to the master table or vice-versa. Is there any way to do this and how? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the same information in both tables? It doesn't sound like your tables are normalized.

The data would be the same. Field names are all the same. I want to be able to encompass three tables into one master table. However, allowing me to make a change to any of the three alterante tables and have it reflected on the master simultaneously. This is in Access 97 also.

Check out the rules of Normalization. A search of this site or the net will result in several articles. Once your tables are normalized you can use relationships and PK's/FK's to do what you want.
