I am unable to do the simplest thing - Link a table / query or form to an Excel spreadsheet exported from the Access object. The xls asks if I want to update the linked spreadsheet, but it only updates if the Access source is open. I need the data available to multiple users (120 or so) even if the db is closed. How can I accomplish this? If it is open, it works fine. If it is closed, I get REF! notices in all cells.
