Linking table in two different DB

Hi,

am new to SQL and never use it before it might be easy one but unfortunately I don’t know the answer ..
I have 2 table in 2 different database I want 2 link them
any idea how to do it ??

Assuming the databases reside on the same server, just qualify the name of the table:

SELECT * FROM database_name.owner.table_name
