I have created a database when is now becoming very large and would like to be able to link reports from a different database as I do with tables. Is it possible ?

What is the size of the db now?
Did you try a Compact & Repair?

You can't link reports. What you could do is link the tables the reports rely on, and then import the reports from the other database. Also import all queries that the reports rely upon.

But it sounds like your real problem is the database is growing too big. As the previous responder suggested, try doing a compact and repair. And if you are currently storing your data in the same database as your UI objects (forms, reports, etc.) I highly recommend splitting the application into backend/frontend database. The backend would hold just the tables, the frontend would have everything else.

I have been writing dbases for 10 years and would you believe it compacting was something I tried years ago...the question was ? is it possible to link a report that was all......

Sorry.. I totally misunderstood the question as a new person in Access.

You may be able to do open the report within db by the following
