You can link parameters from a main report to parameters in a subreport, although you're probably better served to link (called join in Crystal) the main report parameters to the fields in the subreport so as not to have multiple parameter prompts.
Actually, I created a report with a Parameter field_1, which has few subreports. I linked all subreports with Parameter Field_1. Now I have to add one more parameter_2 in the report. When I linked the parameter_2 in subreports, its giving me multiple Detail Sections of each report.
Any help where I'm wrong.
I have four subreports(already saved) as age, gender, zipcode, race.I created a dynamic prompt(Provider) on these reports which will display certain providers with their age,zipcode,race..& I linked all four subreports by Prompt(Provider). It was working fine.
Now I have add one more Dynamic Prompt(Quarter)which will give certain provider for certain quarters. So,I added a quarter prompt. & linked to just a single report age for test purposes. Its giving my 15 age report o/p.(Need only 1 report).I dont now why it is so?
I hope I explained well my problem..
Thanks for ur time.
