Linking Report & SubReport

I've done it in the past, but those were table fields in both report and subreport. That was easy.

Now I have stored procedures as data source for both report and subreport. Each stored procedure takes 2 input parameters (StartDate & EndDate).

When trying to link, Crystal doesn't show subreport parameters as field link options, just database fields.

How do I link them together?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

Have you tried putting the stored procedure parameters in a main report formula field?

It helps to give your Crystal version - 8, 8.5, 9, 10, 11 or whatever. Methods sometimes change between versions, and higher versions have extra options.

Sorry about omitting version. It's a Crystal XI.
When I created report and subreport, I selected stored procedures as data source. Crystal detected parameters in stored procedures and added them as crystal parameters and doesn't let me to delete/re-add them.

I managed to create link between report and subreport parameters. It works if I run Crystal and I get one set of parameter prompts instead of two, but now I have to make it work from C#. I got main report working but subreport isn't. I guess that's a question for another board.

Thanks
