Hi all,
I have a problem linking Paradox tables to access.
There are 50 different folders which contain 5 Paradox tables each. Running access 97 I've linked all but 13 folders.

There was no problems with 37 of them but when I try to link the last few I get a error message saying "The table was not in expected format"

I can see all the data in the Paradox viewer no problem.

If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

Access 97 and Paradox 7 for windows

I was hoping some one else would tackle this one...

I have no experience with Paradox, but "The table was not in expected format" error suggests a field in Paradox is in a different format than that used by Access.

For example, the date format used in Paradox is not recognized by Access. Long intergers, decimals, etc.

I know this is not much but I hope it helps.

Richard
