Hello,
I have a spreadsheet that has a link to a different PDF Map File based on the value of another cell.

I also have a Mail Merge Word Document that has links to the Customer data on the Excel spreadsheet and I want to add the PDF Map link to the bottom of the word document and get it to actually show the map when I look at it and I want it to change as I cycle through the records.

Is this at all possible? If so can you advise how to achieve this.

I am using Office 2007

Regards

Hi Thermalman,

If the 'link' in your excel workbook is in the form of a hyperlink, then you can certainly merge that into your Word document. The only thing you might need to do to get the merged hyperlink string to function as a hyperlink in the document is to embed the mailmerge field inside a hyperlink field.

Cheers
