Linking MySQL Database

I am trying to link a MySql database to a SQl 2000 Server using Linked Servers. I think I have set it up correctly but when I go to set up a DTS package I do not see any tables to choose from. Is there a way that i can check to see if I am actually connected to the database. I am getting no errors when setting up the linked server and selecting tables. But I am also not seeing any tables.
