I have a table that I need two fields from. However, I cannot link it to any of the other tables in the Visual Linking Expert. Is there still a way to include this table in my report?

dbielenda,

Are you using ODBC or a Native connection? If you are not using ODBC try it, it is much more forgiving than native connections - i.e. fields do not have to be indexed to make linking available.

A second thing you can try is using a subreport. Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

When I connect, I usually go to More Data Sources under the Data Explorer. I am assuming that this is using a native connection?

I believe so but I am not sure. If you are limited to linking on indexed fields you are using a native conncection.

Do you have ODBC drivers for your data? Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
