Linking Images in Word 1

Is there a way to add an image in word by linking the image rather than embedding? I don't want a thumbnail to appear, I want the actual image to show up but not be embedded so when the file is saved, it's not big. Our images are about 15mb - 20mb.

Hi Ryan,

Using insert as object gives tho option of linking.
