Linking Frontpage and Visual Basic

Hi,
I have written a frontpage 2000 web-site, however I need to create a drop down box that queries a database and then returns the rest of the database as the result .

I am pretty sure that VB can do this, however can I link a VB project(that is linked to an access 2000 database) to the frontpage web?

If not, what program whould you recommend?
