Linking from an .swf file to an .html file

Hi, I have a flash file as part of my html website. I am trying to do a hyperlink from the flash page back to my html document, but no matter how I link it, it gives an error of URL not found. I've tried:

http://www.xxxxx.com/folder/

[file name].html
[file name].html
folder/[file name].html

and none of them work.

Does anyone know the correct way to link??

have you tried that too:

make a button
put the following script on it:

on (release){
getURL("

http://www.XXXXX.com/folder/filename.html","targetframename")

the targetframename is optional, if you want the html site to open in the same frame just use close the bracket ...filename.html"

oops, sorry, forgot the } in the end and made another typo

that's how it should be

on (release){
getURL("

http://www.XXXXX.com/folder/filename.html","targetframename");

}


well, don'tknow why there is a ; in front of the last ) even if I don't type one, so just leave that out please

If you don't want such typos to happen to your code, just surround it with

 &
