Hi

Is it possible to dynamically link the contents of the Excel2k spreadsheet(destination) to the contents of a table in Access2k(source)?

Cos its possible from Excel to Access but not the other way around it seems. Can anyone help?

I know it is possible as i do it all the time. As far as I am aware, I just use standard ODBC - using the driver that installed with Office. Although I do have to create a definition for each database that I wish to use. follow this link to get to the Microsoft page for odbc downloads.

Thanks 4 the reply.

ODBC, I'm not good with this so is there some thing i can refer to or better still find a template for me to work on. Thanks.

The only other I can think to do it (that doesn't mean there are no other ways, only I do not know them), is to use the transfer spreadsheet function in a a macro to create a spreadsheet, and the original excel file to use lookup to link to this data. [pc]
