I need to link two forms that have come from the same table.

I have a customer table which has all the customer details, but i want a separate form to show the customers address (ie). (all these details are in the same table name, address, date of birth etc..)

So, when a customer details are viewed a button can be pressed to view THAT customers address, How would i go about doing this!! Pls help!!

You may want to try a tab control. Put the general information on the first tab and the address information on the second tab.

Thanks, but i need to create a button so that novice users can use it. the button would be called VIEW CUSTOMER ADDRESS.

When you create the Open Form button on the main form, one of the options in the Command Button Wizard is to either 'Open the form and find specific data to display' or 'Open the form and show all records'. Use the first option and specify the common field.

Then when the user clicks the Open Form button, the second form will go to the matching record. You may want to turn off the navigation buttons on the second form.

How do u swithch of the navigation controls?!?!?!?! I thought id let u know something, im new to access!!!!!

You may want to search in the Access forum for specific information regarding the program instead of this general forum.

Open the form in Design View. Open the Properties box. Under the All tab, find the Navigation Buttons property and set it to No.
