linking file problem in creating a cd portfolio

Hi

I am trying to create my portfolio CD. I am linking movies to my Porfolio.dir by MIAW. I created .exe file and all other movies are linked through MIAW. If I put just the .exe version of all the linked movies I get a script error. But if I put .dir file then it works fine. I want to distribute this CD to prospective employers and I don't want to give them editable files. I am fairly new to Director so please help me.

Use DXR, which is the protected version of DIR files. From the menu bar go to Xtras > Update movies > Protect.

Do not forget to make a backup copy of your DIR files, as once converted to DXR you won't be able to open it.
