Linking Excel chart to Powerpoint

Is there a way to copy an Excel chart to Powerpoint and maintain the links via VBA? Manually, selecting the print area and copying it to Excel, then going to Powerpoint & selecting Edit - PasteSpecial - Link - Excel worksheet works. Anyway to do this programatically using VBA?
