Linking DBase Tables

I have a problem when i try to link dbase table to access2000 the follow message appears "external table isn´t in the expected format".

Need help urgent

If i understand you correctly. The problem could be one of two things.
1) You are linking a table from Access 97 to Access 2002. ie 2 diferent databases.
2) Your tables do not have the same "field name's" or "data types". Make sure your tables are the same thing. The primary purpose of linking tables is updating each other and so it helps having them the same. I hope this helps you in some sort. Tejanorey
