I am trying to link a subreport to my main report via two subreport links: part number and date range. It works fine with the part number, but when I link the date it either returns the current month or all months, yet the date range on the main report is between 01-01-2011 to 02-28-2011. The subreport displays everything in 01-01-2011, but not the 02-28-2011 data. Am I not able to link a range of dates?

Not sure what/how you are linking.

Personally I would create and a date range parameter in the subreport and then link the main report param to subreport param

In change sub rep links drag main param into RH window.

In bottom left scroll down until you find SR param and link.

If I remember correctly, you need to change the range parameter to two parameters--a start date and end date parameter. Create the same parameters in the subreport, add them to the subreport selection formula, and then use the dropdown in the lower left of the subreport linking screen to link the parameters to each other.
