linking back to main file from quiz

I have 3 files. A splash page, a main file, and a quiz file. I have my navigation from the main file to the quiz by using the getUrl but how do I go back to the main file and stop on a particular frame?

There are many ways but one way is to use SharedObject to record the frame number when you leave your main page, then when you come back read the data from SharedObject and send the playhead to the frame.
