We are a POS company trying to incorporate a customer signature into an existing invoice.rpt. We are having two problems:

1. What is the best way to link the image file to the report when the pathname is dynamic. We can put an alias in a file at a fixed location, but we have to get the alias into the Crystal link.

2. What is the best way to pass the image file at runtime. We have tried various ways and none seem to work well. We can use either a .bmp or .tif.

I think you will have to save your image file in your db, because you cannot point to a different image name/directory at runtime.

Unless somebody else has a better suggestion...

To add a linked image use:

Insert, OLE objecct
