Is it possible to link a table in Access to a table in Word so that when the table in Access is updated, the table in Word would automatically be updated too? I can't seem to establish a link between the Access table and the Word table and am wondering if this is possible at all.
I would like to use the formatting capabilities in Word to print a copy of the updated table which has it's source in an Access table. I am using Office 2000.
I am not a code writer but am rather familiar with the workings of Access for creating simple applications
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you,
Jerry D.

I don't believe that this can be done directly, as a Word 'table' is a different type of object to an Excel or Access table. However, would this idea give you the desired effect:

-- Create your data table in an Excel workbook containing a single worksheet
-- In Word, use the Insert ... Object ... Create from File menu option to link to the Excel file. Make sure you check the Link to file check box.
-- In Access, use the New ... Link Table option to link to the Excel table.

Now, any changes you make to the table via Access, should appear in the 'view' of the table in the Word document, the next time you open it.

I hope that this idea is of some help.
