Hi, I have a 2003 mailbox which has no account attached. I have setup a new account with the same SMTP and alias etc. Will this see the account automatically or can I somehow attach it via AD or System Manager. Sorry if this sounds simple...Regards Gonko

Yes, right click the mailbox in Ex Systems Manager and "reconnect" to the AD account.

Hope this helps.

Hi, no in Exchange Systems Manager on the account I have just got HELP. Whereas other accounts have HELP and Exchnage Tasks. As you said I would have though I should get reconnect....

Hi, in our exchange system manager we don't have the reconnect and purge option, whereas we do on a smaller setup we have...Any ideas anyone??

Hi, UPDATE..

We have AD and are using the Exchange System Manager. However the vast majority of mail accounts are 5.5 and do not give me the option to reconnect. So I have a new account showing no exchange attributes in AD, but can see the account I want to link to in system manager, but do not have the reconnect option to do it. On the 5.5 exchange server it has the account as the primary. But it's the AD that matters and I want to see the attribues in AD....HELP PLEASE
