As much information as there is out there, I am trying to do the following:
I am writing a database which will be used to track equipment coming and going from our facility. I need to find a way to set something to check dates and give an alarm if, a) An event is due that day, or b) an event is past due (assuming someone is out of the office, they would get it later). My questions:
1) Is it possible to tell MS Access to do something to that effect?
- or -
2) Is it possible to link MS Access into Outlook's calendar somehow to get the alarms going without having to enter it in an alarm/reminder field? Multiple users will be using this database and if one person updates something, I want to make sure everyone gets that update.
Since I have found no information in this respect, it is my guess that this isn't a possibility, but there is no harm in asking.
Thanks for any information pertaining to this.
