Using CR 8.5:
I have an Access table that is composed of a dozen of items about 30 items. These items are changed on a daily basis. So instead of entering in the report it is much easier to be entered in an Access Table.
Now we have our SQL table that need to pull up only items existing in Access table.

I know that I must use subreport but do not know which one would be the main report...
Thanks

You have numerous options:

Create the same Access table in SQL Server, and then *link* to it in an Access database, that way you can continue to use Access as your data entry system, but you can use Crystal to report on SQL Server tables, and you'll enjoy the added performance, stability and linking options afforded.

OR

Link the SQL Server table into your Access database, then create a Query to produce the data in Access and just use the Access query to report off of using Crystal.

OR

Just join the Access table to the SQL Server table, providing an equal join works for you (horrible performance).

And there are other options too...

You mean under Visual linking I can have Access table linked to another table. If so this is what I want.
Thanks, will let you know tomorrow about it.

I was able to link Access table into an SQL table via visual linking. I had no problems. The report works to the tee, however I found out few limitation but that is not a big deal.
Thanks for your help.
