I have linked our Exchange Global Address book to a table in Access 2000. The problem I am having is with the email address type, which comes through by default as type EX, not SMTP. I have written the database using Visual Basic and I want to write all contact details to a report in Excel. At the moment the email address in the Excel report is of type EX and makes no sense to the readers. Is there a way to convert this address to SMTP, either in VB or the link to Exchange? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
