Hi All - I am trying to link a SQL table to my Access database, but when I go to Get External Data and then link Table, in the drop down list of "Files of Types" ODBC is not listed. I have already set up the ODBCs for the db server in the ODBC administrator. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is.

I am using Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
and Microsoft Access 2003
and I am trying to connect to a MS SQL server 2000 database.

Help....and thanks,

lpbruce

This is a guess, but could it have something to do with the ODBC driver in Access? Is there another installation of Access you can try or can you reinstall?

No Norton AntiVirus with Office plug-in ?

Hope This Helps, PH.
