linking a library file

I am using a version of gcc that allows me to create programs for windows while using unix. i am trying to like the wsock32 library to the program for compiling it, but it does not seems to be working. it also does not seem to find the header files i added even though they are in the same directory as the rest of them. sorry but i am new to using gcc.

sorry, but wsock32 is a windows library. Are you sure you want to likn wsock32?
unix has
s_socket.o, bss_sock.o, b_sock.o
