Hi,
I have multiple MS Access databases (*.mdb files) in a hosted environment/server for each instance of the online application I built.
I would like to create one master database that only contains linked tables to all these other databases, so I can create master reports containing data from all databases.
This works fine when I create the master database locally. However, I need to create this database and upload it to the server (not locally hosted) in which case the links to linked tables break.
Is there a way to link tables to databases that are hosted elsewhere. For example, to specify the URL/FTP destination of the originating database for the linked table?
Any response would be appreciated.
Thanks.
