Hi - Are there any known issues with access 2003 and linked tables? The reason I ask is that I am working from home today - This is the first time I have worked from home since upgrading to access 2003. I have a database with both front and back-ends on my c drive in the same folder.

I can access the tables on the backend without problem. However, when I try to access the tables through the front end I get an error that the path is not valid.

Just fyi, I am able to refresh the links and everything is ok.

My issue is that I don't want to refresh the links every time that I move from home to the office.

I connect through a vpn but like I said, before I upgraded to access 03, I had no problems?

Any possibility this is an access issue? thanks!!!!

I'm not so sure that the version of Access would affect this (gurus, please correct me if I'm wrong)
One way I get around this is to have both at work and at home a folder (c:\DB) which allows me to work locally, without relinking issues.

Thanks straybullet - The strange thing is it is happening with my local files also. I originally did not think it would be access either but I can't figure out what else it would be.

Thanks!!
